Abstracts are being accepted for selection for short talk (12 min talk, 3 min Q&A), flash talk (postdoc, graduate or undergraduate student only; 2 min/2 slide talk, no Q&A) and poster presentation. Select all presentation types for which you would like to be considered. See submission instructions for more details.
Awards will be given out for both oral and poster presentations. The top undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral oral presentation winners will receive a travel award to present at the SDB annual meeting. Current SDB membership (2025 dues paid)
at time of abstract submission is required to be eligible for receipt of the travel award. If you are not a current member,
renew or join before submitting your abstract.

Save your entire abstract as a text file (.txt) to remove all formatting before starting your submission. The entire abstract must be one paragraph only. There is a 2000 character limit (with spaces) for the abstract text. Include any funding sources in the last sentence of your abstract. NO ONLINE REVISION of the abstract is available after submission. Therefore, please review your abstract carefully on the preview page before submitting. If you do not see everything in the preview, go back to add the missing items.
Abstract submission is separate of meeting registration. Please register for the meeting if you have not already done so.
