The Department of Integrative Biology at (MSU IBIO) is conducting a search for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Functional Genomics using animal models systems.
We seek excellent scholars who apply state-of-the-art experimental techniques in traditional or non-traditional animal model systems to understand the genetic mechanisms of genotype-to-phenotype interactions, genome function, developmental or physiological evolution, comparative animal evolution, adaptation, and/or biodiversity. The new faculty will strengthen the core mission of the MSU IBIO Department to advance understanding of the function, stability, resilience, and adaptation of complex biological systems, while fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace that enriches our learning environment and innovative research.
Candidates in the Evo-Devo field and those working with non-traditional animal model systems are particularly encouraged to apply.
Review of applications begins on 11/27/2024.
