Eat and meet virtually for an interactive discussion with the leaders and participants of the Mid-Atlantic Genomics Education Partnership to learn about online curriculum that provides training for faculty to provide research opportunities for undergraduates in genomics. Abstract Submission

Abstract Submission Deadline: April 5, 2021 11:59 PM ET

Please read the following instructions carefully prior to starting your abstract submission:

Abstract submission is for SHORT TALK and FLASH TALK CONSIDERATION ONLY.  You must select "Consider for short talk?" to open the talk type menu. Choose your preferred talk type (12 minute SHORT talk or 3 minute FLASH talk) from the pull down menus. If you only wish to be considered for one type of talk, leave your 2nd choice blank. There will be NO POSTER SESSION at the 2021 Mid-Atlantic SDB Regional Meeting. Attendees from the Mid-Atlantic region will be given preference for talks.

The best undergraduate student, graduate student, and postdoctoral presentation winners will receive a travel award to present at the SDB Annual Meeting. Current SDB membership at time of abstract submission is required to be eligible for these awards. If you are not a current member, renew or join before submitting your abstract.

Meeting registration is required for abstract consideration and the Presenting Author Registration Deadline is Monday, April 5, 2021 11:59 PM ET. Abstract submission is separate of meeting registration - Please register for the meeting if you have not already done so.

The entire abstract must be one paragraph only. Include any funding sources in the last sentence of your abstract. There is a 2000 character limit (with spaces) for the abstract text. The 2000 character limit for the abstract includes the funding source; title and authors are distinct. NO ONLINE REVISION of the abstract is available after submission. Therefore, please review your abstract carefully on the preview page before submitting.
