A postdoctoral scholar position is available to study signaling mechanisms of protein methylation in cell fate determination in the Xu lab at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, California. The project will utilize multidisciplinary approaches including mouse genetics, primary cell culture, iPSC-derived neural crest cells, epigenetic and single cell transcriptomic approaches. Qualifications: The successful candidate must have a recent Ph.D. degree, preferably trained in the developmental biology or epigenetic field. The candidate is expected to be highly motivated. The Xu lab locates at the Health Science Campus in the Center for Craniofacial Molecular Biology, with ample collaborations with the Norris Cancer Center, Eli and Edythe Broad Center for Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research, and the Brain Center at Keck School of Medicine.
