2020 SDB Strategic Plan

In the Summer of 2020, the Society for Developmental Biology began to develop a strategic plan to ensure its long-term success. The Society’s Board of Directors felt it was important to engage in a more formal process to lay out a clearly defined roadmap for the Society moving forward. The Strategic Planning Committee and SDB Board of Directors considered five general areas:

1. Mission
2. Governance and Operations
3. Professional Development and Education
4. Membership and Member Engagement
5. Financial Stability and Revenue Diversification
