2021 Virtual Symposium on the Biology of Vertebrate Sex Determination

October 5, 2021 - October 6, 2021

The 2021 Virtual Symposium on the Biology of Vertebrate Sex Determination will be held on October 4-6.

The Virtual Symposium will feature oral and poster presentations exclusively from trainees and junior investigators/faculty, with the exception of two keynote lectures by Blanche Capel and Richard Behringer and one plenary lecture by Alain Chedotal. We encourage students, post-doctoral fellows, staff members, and junior faculty to present their work. Due to the international nature of our symposium, all presentations, except keynote and plenary, will be pre-recorded. Recordings of the posters will be available for viewing from September 27. A designated time will be scheduled during the symposium for the poster presenters to answer questions. For the oral presentations, recordings will be played at the designated time during the conference and the presenters are expected to be present for Q&A.
The registration and abstract submission sites for the Symposium are now open. Registration is US$30 per person.

If you plan to submit an abstract (single paragraph with 300 words limit), please be aware that you need to register first before submitting the abstracts. Once you registered, you will receive a confirmation email with the link to the abstract submission site. The abstract submission site will be open from August 1 to September 3.
The final program will be available in late September on the symposium website
