The Arora Lab in the Department of Obstetrics Gynecology and Reproductive Biology and the Institute for Quantitative Health Science and Engineering at Michigan State University (www.aroralab.com) is seeking an enthusiastic and creative postdoctoral fellow (Research Associate) to work on a project focusing on mechanisms underlying changes in the three-dimensional structure of the murine uterus promoting embryo implantation. The lab uses classic developmental biology and implantation biology methods, mouse genetics, gene expression analysis and state-of-the art laser-scanning confocal microscopy complemented by 3D image analysis and computational modeling approaches.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Developmental Biology, Reproductive Physiology, Biomedical Engineering or Biomathematics from an accredited university with at least one first author publication. 
  • Work well in a multidisciplinary research team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and perform mouse husbandry and animal surgery
  • An interest in approaching biological problems with a quantitative mindset
