Assistant Professor in Mathematical Biology, University of Manitoba

The Departments of Mathematics and Biological Sciences invite applications for a full-time tenure-track joint position at the Assistant Professor level, commencing 1 July 2018, or on a date mutually agreed upon.

Duties will include meaningful contributions to the research, teaching and service activities of both Departments. The successful candidate will have a track record of high quality scholarly research that intersects Mathematics and Biological Sciences, and has resulted in peer-assessed publications; will either have, or demonstrate the potential to establish, an independent, innovative, scholarly, externally fundable research program; will have demonstrated strength in or strong potential for outstanding teaching contributions; and will exhibit evidence of the ability to work in a collaborative environment. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
