February 17, 2019 - February 20, 2019
Nassau, Bahamas

Organizers: Stijn De Langhe (University of Alabama at Birmingham) and Barry Stripp (Cedars-Sinai Medical Center)

The conference will focus on understanding key processes underlying lung development, injury and repair in the context of age, environment and species, with the hope of better understanding disease development and to discover novel therapeutic approaches.

Key sessions include:

  • Fgf signaling in lung development and fibrosis
  • Aging and lung fibrosis
  • Lung stem/progenitor cells and their regulation in health and disease
  • Organoid cultures to model lung development and disease
