The Society for
Developmental Biology will host
an exhibit at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center featuring live developing zebrafish,
C. elegans (worms), and Xenopus and E. coqui frogs. We will also have create-your-own model organism masks.
Once again, SDB will
be one of nearly 20 scientific organizations on the
Evolution Thought Trail in
which visitors can participate in evolution themed exercises and win prizes.
Our purpose
is to convey the evolutionary connections between different organisms and
ourselves; as well as the importance of understanding the relationship between
developmental biology and a healthy life.

this years evolution exercise on frogs!
