The Biomedical Sciences Department at Grand Valley State University is pleased to announce it is searching for a new tenure-track faculty member to join our growing department in Fall 2018. Qualified applicants will be committed to both classroom teaching and research involving undergraduate and/or graduate students. Applicants with the capability to teach an integrated human anatomy and physiology course and associated labs are encouraged to apply. In addition, experience teaching cadaver-based anatomy or advanced physiology is desired. The area of research emphasis is open, although we encourage candidates whose research complements foci of existing faculty to apply. The successful candidate must have obtained a Ph.D. or equivalent in anatomy, physiology, biological anthropology, biology, or a related field. Duties include a 9-contact hour teaching load per semester, scholarship and service. The review process will begin on November 3rd, 2017 and continue until the position is filled.
