Postdoctoral Position in the Regulation of Centriole Biogenesis, Mitchell Lab, Northwestern University

Posted 9/1/2017

A post-doc position is available in the Mitchell laboratory in the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago.  Our research uses live cell imaging on developing Xenopus embryos to address fundamental questions regarding centriole biogenesis, cell migration and cell polarity. We use molecular, cellular and biochemical techniques in a developmental context and exploit the use of state-of-the-art microscopy and genome editing techniques.  Highly motivated and creative scientists that are looking for a strong interactive academic setting are encouraged to apply. Interested applicants should send a resume to Dr. Brian Mitchell (brian-mitchell@northwestern.edu).
